INSULATION Offering the best insulation properties commercially available, DECOBOARDTM does not lose insulation properties during its life span. Wind entering through voids above the ceiling line or moisture have no effect on the board’s insulation performance. Being installed under the rafters minimises heat bridging. INSTALLATION Installing DECOBOARDTM is as easy as it looks and is not labour intensive, as boards only weigh 1000 g/m2 (30 mm), making DIY an option. By using polyurethane adhesive in conjunction with a concealed clip fastened to the brandering, there is no damage to the exposed facing. Using the concealed clip and the tongue and groove system, Decoboard is easy to install, even for the DIY project. • PU adhesive • Cutting knife • Concealed clips • Paint ACOUSTIC PROPERTIES As well as offering excellent insulation, DECOBOARDTM also offers superior sound deflection – it is advisable to use a bulk fibrous insulation for extra sound absorption to reduce hail and rain noise within the building. SPECIFICATION FOR BOQ DECOBOARDTM by LAMBDABOARD® is a laminated polyisocyanurate core board with a minimum core density of 34 kg/m³, a minimum thickness of 30 mm; in widths of 600 mm with a 1,25 (Km²/W) R-Value. Finish will be white mineral and mineral natural laminated on each side with a white mineral side displaying grooves. APPLICATION: STANDARD CEILING PINE FINISH (TONGUE & GROOVE) – ONLY 30 MM DECOBOARDTM to be mechanically fastened using concealed clip into battens placed at 900 mm centres. Side lap will be interlocking joint using the tongue and groove lap. Finished with one or two coats of high-quality acrylic paint, in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications. APPLICATION: EXPOSED TRUSS CEILING PINE FINISH (TONGUE & GROOVE) – ONLY 30 MM DECOBOARDTM to be mechanically fastened using concealed clip into battens placed at 900 mm centres.
